I've had this cac for what seems like for ever. Finally started the install. It's fully torn down now, marked my areas to be trimmed. Start cutting tomorrow.

Before pulling the bumper Cut into the core support, radiator, fan shroud. Hung. Lower mounts done and drying after paint. Just need to install. Simple L brackets with square tube. Still have to modify the latch handle but the hard stuff is pretty much done. Pulling the cac back off after I'm done with a mods to steam clean it out. It'll get plugged off and reinstalled for good afterwards, then joys of plumbing.

Fits in pretty nice. Trimmed one little area seen precut in the pic, and the head light header panel was gtg. Have a pre and post temp gauge. Rebent the latch handle, it's welded and cleaned it up, painted now. Sprayed some black on, tired of the polished aluminum hanging out. Work smarter not harder lol. Didn't have help today. The CAC is not currently installed right now. Going to drill/tap for my temp sensors and steam clean it out. Now that every thing is clearanced bumper won't have to come off again. Just need to pull the header panel and install.

Cac temp sensors installed. Will install after a steam clean. Still waiting on my intake to be welded up, so may need to find another pressure cap I won't mind modifying. The factory one has some demand. Gauge and for now location.

Nice, I've barely touched my F350, it's been parked a lot... for the last like 3 weeks it's been sitting with a bed full of firewood that needs to be stacked in the back shed... And it also has a broken back window again...
I'd offer to help if I had spare time... I'm probably closer travel time than I used to be now that I'm in Hopewell...

Meh, only work on it when I feel like it and have parts to complete some thing on the to do list weather permitting. Just made that list longer with a flatbed. Happens to be silver and 8ft wide. Solves the dually bed issue.

FYI: a failing clutch hub can sound like a squealing bearing while the clutch is engaged under acceleration, cruise, and decel.

Decided I could live with out the fuel heater. Went with a fs1003 water sep with wif sensor. One head done, lapped valves, shimmed exhaust .060". Installed height on the new comp 910's all around 1.8. Halfway done with the other head. Working to get the 6.9 done and put in and out of the garage.
