Ok we are still a few months away but start planning now. We will have a Bonfire/party on New years eve, and a mudbog New years day. I'll add more details when we get closer. I have plenty of room for camping, lots of bonfire wood. If its nasty we can move the party into the barn. If you have come before you know its a good time. We even had freezing rain one year but it was t-shirt temp around the fire. ;D. Kids are allowed at the bonfire but it can get a little crazy sometimes, so you are warned. The mudbog is kid friendly and no alcohol is allowed during that.
If you come and stay the night at the bonfire it will be free for you to come into the mudbog. If you just come for the mudbog it will be the standard price. $20 per rig (not per person) that is playing. There is parking for the people that don't want to play. There will be no playing in the mudbog field during the bonfire/night. Mudbog will start 10am New years day.
If we get enough people to come to the bonfire we can have a potluck dinner. Post up if you think you can make it.

Bump on the thread we are about a month out. I was down there yesterday. There is water in the 2 main runs and 2 of the big holes have water in them. If anyone wants to come out and dig the top layer out with there trucks, hit me up. Would be nice to get that done before the mudbog. If not the holes will be easy for the first few trucks then it will get interesting. I'll be home most weekends till the mudbog. I'm working on getting my new house put together.

I took a few friends out to the field on Saturday to break the ground out. Ended up with 3 stuck rigs. It was a good time getting them out. Had broken straps and chains. It was well into the cold night before we made out. Anyways the field is only half wet right now, so lets hope for rain to make it a good mudbog. There is plenty to play on right now but we want the whole field wet.
Also for the bonfire bring your chirstmas trees to burn. Looks like we are not doing a pot luck but I will have tables set up so bring what ever snack foods you want. I can have my bbq over there if someone wants to cook something on it.
The bonfire will start around 7pm. If you plan on coming before let me know. I have family plans till then but you can hang out at the fire till everyone shows up. I'll be starting the fire before it gets dark.
