with my past experience with the small pattern dodge front, if you want to run anything over a 33in tire i would stay away from the dodge outer ends. the wheel bearing design was crap and you will be replacing bearings about every 6 months. i had 2 different ramchargers and ran 38s on both and had the same issue on both. just my 2cents.

im sticking with what i said before, get a 77-79 truck or 78-79 bronco you get a 9" strong as hell ! 38's easy a hp dana 44 strong as hell can handle 38's stock if your not to hard on it, my buddy has ran 39" and 44" boggers and bbf 460 and the held up. but i wouldnt recomend it he had stupid luck. any way after you pull the stuff you want part the rest out, then run the rest across the scale and with any luck you might make a couple bucks. i know from expierance . thats just my 2cents though

hey its your truck, lol i was just giving my opinion like you asked, another thought is i would get rid of the body lift and run it the way it is. i know the dana 28 in my bronco 2 (known as jackass) held up to alot of abuse from several people.
but than again its just another thought

Maybe after I get it straight axles I'll pull the body lift off. Just trying to find some 4 inch lift coils for the D30
