Want to see what you guys think about the pattern I've got so far on my rear axle. Also posted this on pirate, but we'll see how well that works out. Axle: 14b FF Gears: 5.38t Bearings: All new Timken Backlash: Currently set at .007" Pinion shims: Currently have .025" installed. Here's the current pattern after applying as much load as I can while turning. Let me know what you guys think. If it looks good, the rear is done and next will be the 60.

I was trying to make it about .008, but if I go one more slot up it goes to about .013, and one down and it's about .002. This was the closest I could get.

This was the closest I could get. its hard because you have to do the preload too...used the old shim and set the back lash with both adjusting sleve then i tighten then one hole each side to keep the back lash mine came out to .008 ...preload was set to 2 holes tighter ..other word i tighten the side sleve mostly bye hand and screwdriver then add 2 holes for old bearing and new bearing was 3 holes..
