Got this in my e-mail today and I'd thought I would share :-)
Hello all OHVPLAN activists.
We are happy to report that the 2011-2012 Oregon State budget has been
finalized WITHOUT any money taken from our ATV fund to be put into the
general fund. Money managers in the state wanted another $6 million of our
ATV money this year, but our legislators got enough complaints from YOU
after last year's "diversion" of $2.2 million, they chose NOT to repeat the
robbery.
YOUR emails saved your ATV funds!
Thousands of bills were submitted during this legislative session. While we
had a few compromises along the way, we feel this legislative session was a
great introduction for Salem to get the message that we, the OHV community,
are watching.
We all know the assaults on our sport continue everyday. Fighting back to
save quality OHV recreation can be frustrating, to say the least, but
together we made a difference this year and we can make a difference in the
future. THANK YOU for being a part of saving our sport and being involved.

Ask your OHV positive friends if they received this OHVPLAN email alert. If
