May is going to be a huge battle on the land-use front.

In order to save the Mecca of four wheeling that is Johnson Valley, (Home to the King of the Hammers) We need the Marines at 29 Palms to expand EAST, not WEST.

As a sign of solidarity, I thought it would be cool if I could get a ton of people to run this avatar for a month...

By May 26th, we need literally THOUSANDS of Comments sent in asking that the Marines go East (They are hampered in going East because some areas are listed as "wilderness" that don't really need to be)

Here's a fun fact, the base is 932 square miles. All the rest of the Marine Corps bases can fit inside the perimeter and still have over half the training area left over. The training area btw is full of trash too so you can expect that to happen to any expansion. Haven't looked at a map to see what area east they were talking about but I know some of the training area butts up to a highway on the east side. We've fired 155mm arty torwards it, bet if only the people driving down the highway only knew.........
