I brought home the new tow rig. Some may recognize it from summer bash. It has already been named BFT. *Big F*cking Truck" Has 454, 4sp, 205. Currently 1 ton but in the deal it is supposed to be swapped to a 3/4 ton unless I can do some more wheelin and dealin. Got it home and after cleaning out the bed we washed out all the sandlake remnants from the cab and bolted the rear seat down. Rewired the trailer plug for my trailers. Right before calling it a day me and justin tossed in a new windshield since the old one was cracked. out with the old in with the new

It is still Kims DD but the trans is beginning not to like heavy loads.

Cool ;D, glade to see it stayed in the poorboy family. I debated pullin my 60 to use in my blazer, figuring Id never really need it in a tow rig, but my wife said don't do it, it will make the truck lose its value. so I did finally found that good deal on that cucv 1 ton and went that way instead. damn how many 454s ya got now???

It is my dads trailer, I am just borrowing it to take deer hunting so we dont have to do the tent thing again this year. Last year me and Justin went with just a tent and it got down to 19deg. It was fricken cold. Hunting in luxury this year. Nice, is that your weekend worrior?

All 3 of the chevys have 454s now ;D Plus a parts motor on the floor. I am not sure I would ever be happy with a small block again.

Nice find!! those older crew cabs are getting harder to find. I tried finding one with a big block and in decent shape a few years back, but ending up settling for a newer (97) ext-cab
