Ok, though I'd start a tread here for the 5'x16' trailer.
Today I got the new 7 prong plugs wired up right on the Black Jeep and the Trailer. I'll be wiring the trailer with a back up light and 12 volt power(for deck lighting), already wired into the tongue. I got the passenger side brakes apart today and had a broken spring in the front one that I replaced, and the brake material came off in one piece on the rear. I JB Kwik Weld the pads back onto the shoes, after all, they are bonded on there. This idea worked on the Black Jeep when the Jeeps brake pads fell off the shoes in Yellostone Park. We actually drove the rest of our trip this way with no problems, and put news rear brake shoes on when we got home, just to make sure there was no issues. I will be doing new electric brakes with backing plates on the trailer soon, but for right now, just going to poorboy it. Plan is to inspect the drivers side brakes on Sunday, and start cutting off the stake posts. Will probably take the center boards out, just leaving one or maybe two boards on the outside edges for driving on. I'm thinking about doing drive over fenders, and may need help putting those together.

May just need to haul the white jeep with the black jeep til we get our RV. Not sure yet if I'll need the tow bar, dependes on how many more Trip Permits I can get, and if I can get the trailer ready in time.

The guy had welded on a side racks, then cut them down.
The drivers rear brake material is gone and I'll have to get new ones. I'll most likely get electric brakes with the backing plates for all 4, that way there will be no guessing the brakes. Got 3 of the 4 brakes adjusted and working today. Started cutting off the post, only got one and a half done before both batteries on the cordless saws-all went dead. Waiting for them to recharge so I can cut on it some more.

the long tongue is what makes it look like it was a boat trailer.

I still think you to rethink trying to tow with the Jeep. i would not do it but thats just me

It probably won't be on a regular basis towing the white jeep with the black jeep, just would like to have that option

A weight distribution hitch with a anti sway bar would help a lot in this case and I would recommend it. And make sure thoughts brakes are working good before heading down a big hill. my 2 cents.

The White Jeep weights in at 3400lbs, Trailer is 1300lbs. I'll be doing short test drives with the Black Jeep to see how it feels when I get the trailer done. I'll also be redueing the Trailer brakes. The Black Jeep has full swaybars, heavy duty front springs, just put new heavy duty towing package leaf springs on back, and came from the factory with Class III tow package. The trailer has 8 ply trailer tires on it that are balanced. I'll have the White Jeep centered over the axles on the trailer so there is very little tongue weight.

Got the side post cut down flush with the bed today. think I'll leave the front 2. Still need to cut off the welded on step on the passenger rear. View on the under front tongue. View under the trailer of ross supports.

I agree, that little 4.0 is gonna be pissed. Make sure you take your trans outa OD and put an additional cooler on it. I think you've got the AW4 trans, right? The stock Ford coolers are stacked plate. If you get one off a F350 with towing package you gots yourself a heck of a cooler. Welcome to the world of trying to find a place to park your trailer enjoy!

This is what I meant by weight distribution hitch and sway control, if it feels a little sketchy this stuff may help. My neighbor had a v8 grand Cherokee and pulled a 24 foot camper behind it, they used this stuff and it worked and pulled it comfortably, easy driving.
