Hi Everyone,
The Tillamook State Forest will be conducting some herbicide application over the next two or three weeks as part of an ongoing invasive weed management program targeting Scotch Broom. Here is the list of areas in which the herbicide spraying will be taking place:
· Browns Camp Area (Rogers Basin) – Herbicide spraying will be taking place on the OHV trail network.
· McGregor Block (off of Highway 26) – Roadside spraying will be taking place.
Signs will be posted during the spray project and application will be taking place in those areas with Scotch Broom. If you have any questions please contact Reforestation Forester Wayne Brown at 503.357.2191.
I’ll send out an update when the spray work is done.
