Alright some of you know that ive done a motor swap in my 1980 yota and now i can't get it running? the motor is out of my truck i rolled. i've switch out the fuel pumps to match the 88 wiring harness. all the lines and wire are hooked up. now its just trying to get it running. It cranks over and what not. i cant even get the dam thing running with starting fluid.. it spits and sputters but not close enough to start it.
Any ideas why it won't start? first thought fuel pump isn't working. but i don't have time at the moment to check it

You have hopfully found the problem already, but if not... Make a checklist and go down the list one at a time, I have done a few swaps and always seem to have a small stupid thing that will make it not run. Make sure you have good grounds: -batt to frame, body, and to engine. Hope you got it going already, if not I have diagrams.
