looking at a trailer it is 20ft but deck is 15 foot i need and want the beck to be atleast 18 but more like 20ft.
what i want to know is it worth it to extend the trailer to what i want and need trailer is prity much what i want for the price.

Gotta weigh the cost of a regular 20 footer versus extending a shorter one to what you want. If you can get a shorter one for a song, then yeah, I'd say extend it.

Another thing to look at is the axles and the weight limit. You can make a shorter trailer longer, but if you weld on 300lb of steel beefing up the add on section that eats up total trailer carrying weight. Speaking from experience (twice actually, though one wasn't my fault) having a broken trailer axle on the side of the freeway is one of the shittyest fealings in the world.
Summing up a long story, if you can afford the bigger trailer, buy it. If you can't, just pay really close attention to the max weight.
