I could use a set of 4.10 or 4.11 gears for a 96 jeep grand cherokee (ZJ) dana 30 front, dana 35c rear. just FYI - in order to get all the right parts, you will need to know what ring/pinion you have now to know if you will need a new carrier. Do you need a master install kit? (with new bearings and seals). Is there a limited slip in it or is it all open? -Ryan

currently running stock 3.55's open diffs F&R. wouldn't mind having a locker tossed in the rear while i'm at it, but it can always happen later. master install kit is required too.

I -just- saw this.. shoot! I am new to the gear thing myself, but I ordered a new Spicer power locker for my D60 in the front. I have been able to get the old carrier bearings off so I can find out the shim thicknesses. I then put new shims on the new carrier using the thickness the old ones were, heated up the new bearings and dropped them on the carrier. I am ready to put my carrier back on, but could use some assistance checking my backlash.. plus, if the carrier pre-load or backlash is off, I am screwed cus I will not be able to get the new bearings off.. Any way you can help me out checking my clearances? I have all the tools needed except the specialty stuff to R&R the bearings. I am gunna see if the carrier will pop in tonight without too much drama, and try to measure the backlash. I pay with beer or meals, and in a pinch.. cold cash.. Thanks in advance! Chris 503-579-1539

Crap. Just installed the carrier and measured the backlash. I have .018 and book calls for .010 to .015. guess this means I have to have someone pull the friggin bearings so I can shim it a smige!
