every time i wheel my 85 bronco it overheats .its fine on the road but as soon as start to wheel it over heats.any suggestions???

do you have a fan shroud? Are you running a clutch fan? if you are then it may be the fan.

its a 5.0l fuel injected.have fan shroud and fan clutch.manual tranny. the radiator is like a half inch thick could that have something to do with it??? recent water pump

sounds like a light duty radiator but I'm still leaning toward the clutch fan without seeing it?

I dunno man I'd check the fan like poorboy1 suggested, look for leaks around the shaft yada yada yada and the basics like you still got water in the rad. just had your problem on my truck, getin hot when off road, how ever I'm losing water some where causing the problem, there's no visible leaks, not burning it, not in the oil, not in the tranny but it's going some where and It would get hot the minute I got er off road and started pushing it a little, I am leaning towards my rad cap but I haven't replaced it yet but if your not missing any water then you could possibly rule this out depending on how well your over flow tank werks.

fan cluth huh? ok ill check it out.thanks for all the help guys highly appreciated.thats crazy bout ur coolent.good luck with that ill ask around with my buddies about that they might know a thing or 2.
