Been keeping busy doing a little here an there. Really want this to make it to SB this year, still have 6 months but deadlines haven't turned out for me yet on this project. Decided to extend the wheel wells to fit the tires with the leafs turned around. Working on the passenger side first, cut the well in half then cut along the top and bottom. Cut a 10.5" filler panel for the stretch and checked fitment. After cutting inside to match the new length cut the outside of the body to match. Making the outside even with the top of the wheel well. Idea of how big they are now with the roller tire. Driver side fender just for comparison to how much was cut on the other side. Tacked into place, filler panel fully welded. Inside finished, just need to weld up some filler panels between the wells and the outside body and the passenger side will be done. Oh yeah, also mounted up one of my Pitbulls... Next to my 35's that are on my black truck. With 15psi in them and no weight on them they measure out to be just under 41.5" tall and about 14" wide. They won't be that tall with weight on them though.

Looking good. Curious to see a pic of the wheel well with the tire on. It's going to be at least a couple of weeks till I put a tire under it. Need to get the other side finished up before I can mount them. Need to jack the truck up to get them bolted on and it'll lift off the jack stands if I go any higher. I'll definately get one when they are on though. curious to see how you tackle the front fende.r with my old half ton i could never decide how i was gunna go about opening up the fender....will be nice to get an idea b4 i get another project Haven't figured that one out yet either. I know I need to trim them to fit now with the new rocker panels, but not sure on what will need to go for the rest. That may be next on the to do list though, just so I won't have to worry about it after the cage.

on th front inner fender there is no even remotly flat part so youd prolly have more time shaping the filler panal so it doesnt fit like butt then anything else. the rear was easy cut bend weld..

I'm not going to put them back in. ;D Planning on building the cage in a way that I can just put metal from the frame up to the cage work to cover where they would go. The battery will be relocated to the back of the truck, only thing I'll have to make a spot for is the computer.

Been working slowly on getting the drivers side completed. Got most of the inside cut, still need to cut the outside to match then start with fill panels. Been spending time with the family and getting stuff around the house done so haven't been able to spend the amount of time I would like to. I did get a new toy to help with the rest of the build though. Hypertherm Powermax 30 plasma cutter. Played with it a little last week when it came in. Currently only had it plugged into 110v until I get another 220v line installed in the garage. It cut through 18ga steel with no issues, 1/8" wasn't bad. Any thicker and it needs to be plugged into 220v. Hoping to get back on the Ramcharger next week so I can mount up the other tire I have at my house.
