I run schedule 40 drive lines and 50lb rims, 30lbs aint nuthin. I'll run it.

the pictur looks like it goes on top of the frame as well as under it. I have no access to the top of my frame because of my tube bed.

Yes, it slides over the frame. There is no anchor holes in the top of it, If you have 1/4" of clearance on the top of your frame, it will bolt on np.
The way I designed it to work, it basically hangs itself, leaving your hands free to work with tools. Well, theoretically anyhow ;D

do you guys make a stock style extended shackle, I and running my shackle flip I got from sky last year, but it is designed to use stock shackle.

We are considering it since we have a lot of requests for the same thing for Toyotas. Basically, we have to do a LOT of them in order to make them cost effective. We have to farm out the forming, so the more we make, the cheaper they are.

I made my brackets out of 1/4" thick plate, but used a lot less material than you did... Just out of curiosity, why the over and under frame design? For ease of installation? Strength? Weighing as much as they do it would be nice to set them up there and leave them while your hands get to fiddle with the bolts and such to bolt them on, but... that is also additional wight right there, that for the most part isn't necessary... What I would do is cut it apart (even though you just put it together) and see what weighs the most. You could remove a lot of material from that to reduce weight. I would stick with the 1/4", beef is nice, just maybe a little different design. Although, I think the Sky brackets are only 3/16", but if the price is comparable, I would go with that extra 1/16" any day. Even if you use 3/16" with the same design I don't think you will lighten the up as much as you want.

I went w/ 1/4" plate because that's what we had laying around. The current design allows you to run up to a 63" rear shackel without having to flip your brackets. All you do is rrelocate your shackle/bushings to the back hole.
The over/under design is for exactly what you said. It leaves your hands free to hang the beast. We use a solid plate int he back with studs welded on that stick through the frame. Basically, put the plate in the back, hang the bracket on the studs, and torque it down. We designed it that way so you wouldn't have to drop your gas tank to install it (mainly applies to blazer/jimmy's)
I am pricing out the difference between 1/4" and 3/16". This will be an optional design, but the 3rd gen is much different and lighter.
