well buttened up the steering today and its awesome! I had to modify my tie rod for the new rod ends I am using... when I bough the axle is came with these super cheap economy ends that had play in them just from this winter driving... the new ones are heavier duty chromoly with teflon coating and kevlar incerts hopefully they hold up better!... Anyways heres why it took me so long Project one. New cabinets for the wife! and onto the steering.... the ps cooler Had to clearance the intake manifold and rebuild the ps pump bracket to accept the saginaw pump had to move the resivoir to accomidate the new pump and put a longer serp belt in... Had this hood lift in the garage for a year or so waiting to be put on my willys and since that project is on hold and I had no hood prop on this jeep I put it on and its awesome! and just a cool rig I saw at the theatre a bit ago that is a size 12 there it was a 42 x 22x 22 freakin monster

yea it really is.... just need some money and steel so I can get some bumpers fabbed for it!
I think that truck uses lots of parts from a semi... or at least semi theamed... it was real cool... not sure what you would use it for but it was cool..

Yeah but cuttin the hood and moving your factory fenders is cheap. Then when the $$ is there build or buy some tube fenders. jeeptubes.com seem reasonable and they will make em' longer at no or little charge. looking good btw

you can move the factory fenders? even with the curve of the grill? I have plenty of clearance with the lift I have It will probalby be after I get out of school when I start tubing the fenders. I want to start working on my other jeep too... Have you seen a writeup on moving the stock fenders up?

I had a bunch of links saved up but when myself and the other mini mods got wiped out I lost them all. pm 3pete and ask him as I foward them to him. He will be moving his up in the following weeks. You need to massage the curve a lil' and there will be a small gap at the bottom that only Jeepers will probably notice. Other than the front curve and making sure you keep the factory angle (back is taller) it is not more than cutting the hood and moving the fenders up. Ohh and you have to run an aftermarket intake.
