92 Plymouth Laser RS AWD turbo...... Same thing as a Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX or an Eagle Talon TSI. Just got a fresh fully ballanced and blueprinted engine with all the forged goodies and lightened parts i could stuff in it. Most of my Jeep budget went into this thing. With income tax returns, bonus, and stock sales I'm gonna put the lift and new axles under the ZJ, but i really want to upgrade the turbo, intercooler and engine management on this thing. I just figure i've been putting off the lift on the jeep for long enough so it's time for it to get a little bit bigger. In 6 months the DSM will get its new go fast goodies. The bottom end is good for about 700 all wheel HP. I doubt i'll go that high, just because i don't want to replace transmissions and transfer cases in it every other weekend. It's gonna be a V8 eater!!! click for fullsize pic I got so bored waiting for all the machine work to get done, I polished my transmission bellhousing. I know..... It's stupid. I was bored!!!

gonna build my own 3" stainless. I have a 38mm external wastegate that will be vented to atmosphere so that i can have 3" all the way from the turbo instead of going from 2.5" to 3" at the flex section like most people. gonna be a test pipe and a magnaflow 3" straight thru muffler sitting underneath along side the drive shaft so that i don't have it hanging out the arse of the car like every other rice rocket. should give it a better sound too.

i'm hoping so. it's gonna be tucked up as far as i can get it and have a 45* turn down flush cut with the bottom of the bumper so you don't really see it. I'm keeping it stock for the moment.... until the lift and new axles go under the jeep and then it's time for the laser to get more goodies. exhaust, AEM stand alone EMS, new intercooler, sheet metal intake manifold, bigger injectors and of course a bigger turbo. I'm not going to have a reliable daily driver to save my life!

honda's are too easy to change your mind on. the aftermarket for them is HUGE and cheap. Mitsu's you kinda have to plan out for it and pad the wallet first, cuz the aftermarket isn't anywhere near as large and it's much more expensive. Half the reason i got out of hondas is because they're too easy. I miss my civic like a mo fo, but i like the DSM better.

well, i sold my baby to a buddy a few weeks ago. hated to see her go, but she's still in the family and i'll still get to tinker with it and see it grow since he's not real mechanicly inclined. hopefully gonna pick this one up this weekend. '05 EVO VIII MR with a bunch of go fast goodies and lots of carbon fiber.

wife has been wanting an evo. now with the baby on the way might have to trade the acura in on a 4 door........ that was my excuse to get rid of the laser...... " too hard to put the kid in..... need something with 4 doors (other than the jeep) to make carrying the kid around easier" It's a good excuse...... just carries a hefty pricetag. but you should DO IT!!!

the funny thing is the kid that owned my acura before me traded it in for an evo cause he got his girlfriend preggo. We were looking at the evo's one day and found the one we like $54,000 but no mods needed, good to go from the factory.

that's kinda how the one i'm hopefully gonna get is. 400hp done up right for $35,000. I only say hopefully because it's his baby and he's having a hard time deciding if he wants to let it go. if he doesn't, then i'll be driving to bend to get one down there with less goodies on it. its not the color i want, but its got about half the miles and it's 8 grand less. There's an '06 MR (red) with 4500 miles on it on autotrader for 31K right now. if only i liked red!
