i just got an 83 ranger today. it should keep me on the trails while im building my bronco up. it has the 2.3 (with 50k on it) 4 banger in it and a 4 speed tranny. some small tires needs some massive 32"s or 33"s on it though. hopefully i can take it to browns camp next time theres a run up there.

I know that the 2.3 is a good motor. A lot of people used to swap them into sand rails.

That is the big advantage of a little motor. I still want to put a small diesel in my jeep.

after driving this thing for the last few months and the trip up to tsf in the snow (that sucked) its almost ready for a lift and tires im only going to go with the add a leaf in rear, coil spacer in front, and 1" body lift and next weekend im going to order some 34" ltbs. later on it will probably get leaves and a cherocar 30 in the front and an 8.8 in the rear
