i have the 2.9 in mine not much power but in low range in does well enough to get around, if you put a 302 in the front and rear end will be a weak point. you definatly will need to get more weight in the back! i have had the back tires off the ground more than once

Well I'm building a flat bed for it with a tire holder. As for the 302 i am not sure if i want to put that much in to it.So far i payed $500.00 for the bronco,$15 for the bumper,$12.00 for the tires(mounted the tires my self),$12.00 for sazal blades,$10.00 for rock sliders,$8.00 for snorkel parts and $200.00 in beer. The flat bed is a free-bee.The motor in it runs good.So i am gonna run it a wait for it to blow.
