scored some aluminum sheeting....covered the big holes in the doors....painted it to match the rest of the door had to cut a notch on the pass side to clear the handle picked up a 20 cal ammo can from bajaboy and mounted it in the back for tools and spare parts also scored some expanded metal.... not as heavy as I wanted to use, but it was free....... so I will use it to make my grille.... one piece is cut to the size I need for the grille plus I have another big piece if I decide to cover the headlights too.... plus I have some other sheets of aluminum to make some brackets with.... here the grille piece in mock up

was wanting to cover the gap between the bumper and body...... so why not use another piece of expanded metal

fabbed up some cup holders.....couldnt find any I liked....had the metal to build it, so it was free as well

made some bins today....also put a piece of expanded metal in the fairlead hole in my bumper... this is temporary till I can afford a winch

well I have done all I can do on my k5 till I get working again....once I get on my feet, then I might get a few things for the front suspension from DIY4x, dual battery setup and a winch

got the hook up from chevtech on a cluster.... the printed circuit was falling apart on the complete cluster, so I used parts from both to hopefully have a working fuel gauge and speedo also managed to get a few of the smaller stuff I need, so I am hoping that I will just have some fine tuning and put some tags on it left to do to take it wheelin
