Tonight I got the skid plate, fuel tank and asociated crossmembers out of one frame and into the other. It's all mocked up clamped in to place and ready to weld in.It will wind up about 4-6 inches back more than it was in the other frame because ther4e is a bend in the frame that it had to fit behind. It looks like it shouldn't affect much though. I'll have to extend the filler neck, but With a body lift that is comon any way. Tiomorrow I will finish welding the cross members in and install the electric fuel pump, inside the frame rail infront of the tank. Then I'll run the fuel lines, pre pump fuel filter and re-flare the brake line that the end broke off of. (the rear one) Getting down to the nitty gritty. The body will be sittin on there before you know it.

Wow need an escalator to get in and out LOL! Are you going to be lengthening the wb to match up with the wells on the burb? Cool to see the body on there!

Are you going to be lengthening the wb to match up with the wells on the burb? No, I set the rear end to the length of the drive line. (wrecking yard item) My plan is to trim the opening more forward than back. The body isn't 100% in place either. I will use the fork lift with taller blocks from under the frame to lift the body and remove some of the blocking after I finish some of the fender trimming. I am still waiting for my body bushing kit to come. (over 2 weeks)

Maybe I should of gotten a long bed drive line and it would of been further back. (hind sight) Oh well, I'll make the best of it. The mounts are already burned in. Maybe cancel moving back the body too? I'll keep you posted.

It will be 3 inches when it's done. The wood spacers that are temporarily between the body and frame are about 18 inches thick.

Nice, Nice, Nice. Looks longer than I had expected, what is the wheel base of the burban when it was stock? Looks longer than my long bed.

I think it was 10 foot 8 inches center of hub to center of hub before I touched anything on the burb. Today I got the lift, axels and frame seperated, cut the frame in half and some more cleaning. I'll get to it again Monday.
