And the belt issue. They were not broken, just jumped off their places and wrapped around the fan. I am gonna buy new ones, dont worry, these ones are shot.

Always keep some spare belts in the towing rig, just in case. Although a bunch of them disappeared at Sheridan, gotta restock again... I was playing with the pulleys and they move fine. They jumped off because I was hitting the track so hard. Had belts jump last year, too, so no big surprise.

The hood finally gave out; bent so bad it didn't close tight unless I jumped on it. So Thursday night before the race, we painted the new one. Charlie did this free handed (picture from Friday before the race):

Charlie took the truck to the wash out on our trip on 8/17; here's what happened when he tried to go thru the part that pigpen and Jason did (explains the dent in the door and rubbed off paint lol):

Considering there were no other full size rigs there i didn't want to risk the chance of it doing what Jason almost did - i was there for that. i cut the glass packs off the exhaust so there is only enough pipe to go past the crossmember.

No Willy, the truck didnt make it up that part of the wash out, I made him stop where he did. In light of watching Brenner and Jason and pigpen, and the work that is going on at my house to the Flying Farm Truck, I am kicking around ideas for turning my race truck into more of a play truck. I dont really know where to start, as in what to do first. Here is my list so far: I want to put a cage inside Considered cutting some of the bed off Want to do something with the steering so it corners better Then there is flex and suspension. I don't need to lift it any higher, just need to make it more flexable. Got ideas or guide lines for the Little Sister?
