Looks good! I'll be mad if you trim the wheel wells though, it's too nice a truck to cut up.

oops sorry i see you have pics already ... looks good with those 38s... really good and once you put your winch on the front with a nice big old bumper it will probably level itself out ...

I'm taking a break from working on it today. Got a little to do all the way around. Picked up the tires from Boggerboy and just bought the rims at Schwab's. Got this carb for free and rebuilt it a few days ago. Bought an electric fuel pump to replace the mechanical fuel pump. Instead of just running a wire from a switched source I used the Painless Wiring fuel pump relay kit. I mounted the relay to the back of the cab just above the fuel tank on the driver's side. Ran the fuel pump wire to the fuel pump at the frame rail. And the remaining wires went to the circuit breaker I mounted on the firewall and to the fuse box for a switched power source. I also welded some 3/16" flat bar to the frame for the fuel pump. The holes are drilled so the the pump is just above the bottom of the frame. Charlie

do all your rims match now or did you just swap them to the same side?

They all match now. At least for the $540ish I paid I had better have a matching set of four. lol I still don't like how the rear sits so much lower than the front. It's one of those things that bugs me when I see it.

looks nice. Did the fuel pump fix the problem you had? Or is it too early to tell?

looks nice. Did the fuel pump fix the problem you had? Or is it too early to tell? It did not fix the problem. I also used a different carb with the new fuel pump. Knowing that ignition was the only thing left I said "fawk it" and went to Schucks and got a new MSD cap and rotor, Accel coil, Autolite plugs, plug wires, and a control module. $175 later and it runs great... then the transmission gives me trouble. It's really is just one headache after another. lol
