I have never been to a Mud Drag before. Are you planning on running in it, or being a spectator? I will come and watch it, it sounds fun. I would like to run in it, but I wouldn't know what I was getting into.

I can't find a front drive line...and I need help fabricating a front track bar...so my front axle doesn't tap dance when i hit a bump at high speeds... the only thing holding it straight is the leaf springs!!!! I need some off road help please. IF I could get a front drive line and some type of front stabilizer and my quadra-puke (quadra-jet) carb tuned or something i'd run it through the bogs in a heart beat....thanks for the compliments on the beast.. it's name is BIG DOG....if you know anyone who can paint that on my truck i'd be more then happy to let them...haha

I fixed the popping sound. A lifter was extremely loose. I tightened it up and now I can romp on the gas!!! yippee... Also I raised the idle just a wee bit...I believe the motor wasn't getting enough oil pressure and that caused the lifter to come loose or something.
still have shackle/front drive line problems.
