Glad that you made it back alive. wish you could have made it back up. there was about 8-12 inches of snow about 1/2 mile up the road from chicken road. the guy in the toy couldn't make it up any further so we all turned around and then he left. said he just HAD to go to beerfest. so we just cruised around on a few more logging roads then ventured up the first section of powerline. the rangers cut down a tree at the second segment...... all we could think was..... that wasn't there last week! i ended up in the ditch 3 times and the guy in the tahoe went in 3 times and the bronco 1 time (causing 2 of my 3 times in the ditch). all in all, it was pretty fun. I won't be able to go up tomorrow, gotta work at 7pm so i'll be sleeping all day. Was great meeting you and your fam Jason. Hopefully we'll make it up there again soon.

I went up... The snow ruts that led into the ditches kept it from being much fun but the wife learned a little about driving in it. I think I had my fill of those winter wheelers and will wait for the snow to turn to mud.

I could have got the jeep up but the monty was lacking traction I hit that deep mud pit on the power lines and drown my air filter and dist so I was sputtering so bad I kept falling off the road. Snorkel time
