Ran into a poorboy member and his family at Villa medical clinic last week (lifted suburban) . He gave the run down on how to join and here I am. Die hard Ford man, owned several broncos and currently working on shortening an 84 supercab.

Just moved to Forest Grove, excited to see what Oregon has to offer for the Offroad people. I have a CJ7 that I'm putting 4.56 gears in and Auburn Ected lockers. I have never done a gear job, wondering if you guys know a local shop or even someone that could give a few pointers on setting up backlash and what not. Thanks

Morning and Welcome! I've heard of Paden, from what I've heard they do pretty good work, they have been around a long time. I think they are a little pricy though. Leanords 4x4 (may no longer do it. Working from his house now) setup my gears and had a good reputation in Hillsboro, Six states in P-town are some places I would recommend. Others here setup gears as well.

Ok great! I am going to take them to Padens He quoted me 275 an axle. Everyone else was almost double that. I have heard alot of good things about Leanords and I tried to call the shop, makes sense why no one answered. Thanks for the input! Hope to see you guys on the trails soon.
