Or will have one tomorrow hopefully... Situations happened that set me up with a '97 F350 Powerstroke crew cab long bed 4x4 with 320k on the clock (around 200k on the engine, runs like a top), body isn't perfect but good enough, definitely a runner, was a good deal... I'll get pics when I can...

Yeah, it should tow pretty much anything I'd want to, should be a decent rig, gotta fix a few things in the near future but it drives pretty decent.

Well Ya that's a given with an used truck but my buddy's dad has a 7.3 ford and it's hauls all of his work equipment and belts and such. So for haul a toy it shouldny be a problem

Good find with the 5 speed. My last tow rig was a 97 power stroke too, but an automatic. Would pull anything, but at the cost of three trannys over the years.

If the motor out of my 93 will work feel free to stop by and snag it if you got time. All my switches worked too. You going to finish that exhaust?

It's just the motor part itself so probably would... your cell # still the same? Might drop by sometime this week if you're around...

Yah it's still the same. Work evenings still. Home until 2 then head out for work. If need be could probably pull it out of the reg cab and leave it some where accessable or bring with if you wanted to drop by the freightliner in brooks.

it makes absolutely no noise whatsoever or didn't when it wouldn't move, I think the brushes are just dirty or has some internal connection problem... I'm not going to dig into it in this weather

I don't blame you. It's to cold outside. But it could just be a bad connection.

I'd bet switches. On both the gasser and the diesel I've had, when I've let them sit both have had switches go inop. Happened with the stang too. Easier to replace, might as well start there first. Not sure if the rear doors are the same but on the front doors you have to drill holes to access the window motor if it's never been replaced before.
