I've been around here a while (not near as long as many here) and it's never been this dead around here... I finally get my rig running reliably and no one is around? I know I've never made a SB but I've tried! one year my truck stalled 1/4 of the way there and had to turn around, the rest of the time something or other came up or was broken... if possible I plan to make SB this year... I have been on one run to Browns Camp a couple years ago and really want to head up there again with my truck running better Anyway, just curious if there was a reason for the deserted atmosphere

I just cant afford to wheel as much as i would like. Fuel prices are the biggest hang up for me.

If you refering to how dead the forums are I think it has to do a little with facebook. Alot of the updates and pics that were getting posted on here are now simply going onto facebook accounts or even the PB facebook page.
There are some upgrades coming to this site at the end of the month that may make postingg pics and likes easier which might help? We'll see. Other than that maybe eveyone is just busy with other stuff?

I agree with everyone above.. I use to wheel almost every weekend. The cost of living went up (not only fuel, but everything like milk, taxes, autoparts exec. Well everything but my pay check.) I just can not make it out that often now and when I do, I'm worried about breaking my junk as I can not afford to fix it.

I'm in the same boat. I spend this time of year making upgrades and repairs from last year. We are trying to get down for the sand flee run but might not have the bronco done by then. Time will tell. And fuel prices climbing never helps either

yeah, but if you say something to the general population sometimes it kicks some people in the rear Just for the record, when I rebuilt my engine it runs great! still has one small oil leak somewhere in the back but I'm not that worried... tranny shifts perfect, tires work SUPER, I've only taken it out once to go snow wheeling (in the middle of March, not the best idea) but it did awesome for a truck with no weight in the back, tires held on even at 6psi, engine started first crank every time and did it's job perfectly... We'll see how it does in Christmas Valley april 15-21 .
