Just my luck, the passanger side rear shock broke off our 2006 GMC 2500HD pickup over the weekend. It broke in the middle of the shaft and the bottom half of it fell to the ground, and rapped around the axle shaft bending the 1/4" thick bracket so bad that it will need cut off and replaced.
I was able to bent it back enough to put another shock on it (upside down, as I could not get the bracket away from the axle enough to allow for the shock to be put on the correct way). Anyway.. I can not find a bracket for it yet... I'll call Ruff stuff and see if they can get me one, but I may need one fabbed up. No local places that I've called can find one or build a bracket for me. Since this is our daily driver, I may pay someone to cut the old braket off and weld on the new one... Knowing my welding skills... If anyone has any advise I would love to hear it.
Thanks, Rusty

Thanks Kev, Do you know where in Aloha? The bracket is to short for my truck, so it has to be fabed... I have a place called "Gerry's" that is going to do it tomorrow for me for $100.. I know nothing about him. I hope he does good work.
