Sorry i havent been on here guys, my computer took a shit! So im going to buy my wife here brothers 78ish chevy k30. He died like 16 years ago of leukemia and the family kind of fell apart til i came in the picture and ive been tryin to get his truck for thelast 5 or 6 years. Ill see it and then itll disapear but now i know where its at and can buy it. Is gonna cost more than its worth but for centimental reasons i dont care! She wants it big and bad so i want input from u guys, my budget is tight so slow build for sure but i want to get running gear under it. She has a heavy foot and loves the mud so what motor, trans, axles, tcase would u run. Im goin around 40-44 tire range. I can build pretty much anything and have tool to do so. And she doesnt want to cut fenders much, and i want a flexy ride so i was thinkin 4 link and coils with a drop subframe and integrated tcase crossmember. Shoot me ideas guys for sure! And as soon as i get the truck ill post pics n stuff. This is a surprise for her she doesnt know i can get the truck. And since she only has 1 pictureof her brother and her mom hoards the rest of everything this should kick ass!!

If its a true k-30 it should already have tons under it. No need for links just put longer front and rear springs and do a shackle flip in the rear.

x2 but u may have to cut the fenders more than u think if you run 44s. I got a 8 inch super lift and had to cut some to fit 39.5s. unless you plan on being super tall.

Yeah its a true k30, but the douche nozzle that has it has the truck sittin on springs with no motor, trans, or axles. Im leanin towards 64" springs rear with shackle flip, and something long for the front but dont know my options as im a link guy and havent built a fullsize since highschool 18 years ago! But for simplicity leafs are probly gonna happen. Cutting isnt totally out but needs to be clean, she knows its gonna happen. We just want it clean and nice to start, then pound the shit out of it! What options do i have for front lift and flex? I ran 12" national springs way back when and they didnt flex and rodelike shit! Lookin around 8"-10"ish. The motor im thinkin 383 with my nitrous kit and fuel injection with a turbo400 and an ord doubler. Chevy 60 front just cuz ford 60s are a ton o cash and a 14 bolt rear with disc
