Donkey Pond BBQ and clean up

To all who wish to participate, we are planning a BBQ and trash clean up at the Donkey Ponds in Dayton on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Julie, Shrek, Kristi, and I, will be providing hotdogs and hamburgers, if you wish to bring food to BBQ or any side dishes would help. You will need to bring your own beverages. Anything you can bring to contrubute to the clean up (trash bags, rubber gloves, etc..) would be greatly appreciated. Please RSVP by sept. 15th so we can have an acurate head count. Ok, since I've got plenty of time off in the next six weeks, I'm working on a few things for this event. I've contacted Western Oregon Waste to see if they'll be willing to donate trash bags and possibly a dumpster for this event. I'm also going to talk to my neighbor that owns "Burt's Chuckwagon BBQ" and see if he might be willing to pitch in some time and good BBQ for this event. I'll keep you posted on any further developements, but we would greatly appreciate your participation in this clean up event.

I'll be down for a week because of major surgery, but I'll be back on as soon as I'm coherent enough.

I haven't been up to doing a lot of planning thus far, but as my healing progresses, I'll be trying to get more together for this event. Ok people, it's getting closer! Still waiting to hear from those of you who can make it out for this. We are hoping for some decent weather at this point, and would love to see as many members there as we can! There will be a few other groups participating in this as well, and we have explained to them that the point of this gathering is to RESPECTFULLY come together to do the clean up, and have a good time without being stupid and irresponsible. Come help us out!!!

Ramboy, I wouldn't try and drive across the river but I did get my seats wet blowing a tire and sinking the ford the other day! Heck ya gotta give um something to laugh at! Lol
