I'm starting to work on my friends blazer again. I made the front clipthe way it is switched it to propane installed a 454 and installed a cage last summer. The frame ripped apart behind the steering box. so Now I'm putting hydrolic steering on it. I've made hi steer arms, a mount for the orbital, and the mount to attach the ram to the axel.

Whats it do, hard to turn at low RPM? Also that looks like a fat little ram, are you sure your resivoir holds enough fluid when fully turned? If you use up all the fluid in the resivoir during a turn you may burn up your new pump when you put it on. Anyways keep the updates coming?

can't even turn the steering wheel at idle. I saw a trick on line where a guy added a radiator hose to the top of the res. and added volume .. Kinda hoaky but might work for temp...

adding hose for a resivoir will work, thats what I did when I had hydro assist. I took an old pump and cut the neck off it and attached it to the top of the hose.

Did the mods to the pump today. It steers @ an idle now. Also added a reservoir from a semi, above the pump. Need to mount the reservoir tomorrow. Then I think It's ready 4 mudfest
