Well, I finally found this website!! Passed a Jeep in McMinnville a month or so ago with Poorboy stickers on it, and got around to finding out what it mean! About me....my name is Mike, and I live in Beaverton, not far from the Nike campus. I enjoy 'wheeling, even though I don't go often enough! As you can guess by my screenname, I drive a gray Explorer. it's stock at the moment, except for slightly oversized tires.... Anyways, its good to be here, hopefully I can contribute something...lol.
-Mike

thanks again everybody!
The Jeep was a black 4-door older Cherokee, pulling a small trailer...looked like it had a small lift on it.
One of these days I'll get around to lifting my Explorer so it's a bit more capable....I have a set of shackles, a 1-inch body lift, and new torsion bars out in the garage. LOL.

That would be awesome....I still have to daily drive the Explorer for a while yet, but the long term plans include SAS and some serious 'wheeling...
I'm gonna try and find some snow tomorrow...staying as far away from malls as I can get!

Welcome to the site! I just joined as well and have a close to stock explorer. Just the shackles, torsion bar lift and oversized tires as well. It is my daily driver too so I keep to easier trails as well! Browns camp has a lot of good easy and moderate trails to have fun on I remember a gray explorer from Portland area on Explorer forum, do you post there as well?

I'll soon have an explorer drivetrain under my ranger... anyway, it's good to increase the Ford population around here . Brownscamp is good on those things, put 31's under them and you should be able to make it through many of the trails up there, my Ranger is stock on 31's and it does well, although the Explorers have a fair amount of stuff hanging underneith like the gas tank...
