Hey guys. I'm new from florence. Names wil. Been in to yotas for a while now. Used to have a sas'd 91 then a few ifs ones and went back to a solid axle again. I just got this truck it came from the tillamook area, I traded my ifs runner on 35s for it. I'm redoing everything on the truck, if you know who built it stay away from them and don't let them ever weld on your truck its nasty and everything is done half a**ed. The welding sucks, the hanger is far from anything I think could even be decent, the frame tubes are just scary, and they could not even mesure right for the rear end to set the rear hangers when they did what ever they were doing. So anyways here is the truck I own: This is how tall and the straight up shackle angle it had: Then I put rears up front from a 87 and its looking a little better, still need to get a new hanger and do all that fun stuff. Going to do 63s out back and ditch the 3" bl. Getting 35s at the end of the month. Still to tall for my liking but it will get there. Build is going to be for dd use, some sand wheelin, and maybe light runs at browns, and snow wheeling, hunting so pretty much a all around truck. 35s will be the biggest I will ever run.

Idealy though for a huntin rig I'd want it lots lower on 33s but thats not practical for other things. And thinking of going back to a stock sized bed for carrying things.

tps, afm was all tweaked out, 1 plug was fouled and it still needs a exhaust, has 0 back pressure. but it runs semi decent, waiting to get exhaust done and see how she runs. If still like crap then new injectors and afm.

HAHA, I have seen that truck around sandlake... The guy blew the motor and sold it, I was told it went to Portland?. It was offered to me a few months ago, but it was a more of a project then I wanted to do. The suspention was a little scary, mainly the front. The tube that holds the springs, if you look at it from the front, it is bent. The rear he had shorter springs installed?? The gears dont match. It was a nice looking rig when he first got it. Good luck, I feel better that it is off the road after looking at it close I always planned on pulling over if I ever seen it on the road again. Sounds like you have it under control to build a nice wheeler.

Yeah haha about that motor being blown, its not. What the dumb ass did is the tps went out, and then some one adjusted the afm alot I'd say 8-12 clicks past what it should have been, and they were running it straight piped with no O2 sensor. All fixed now. Its regeared right now to 4.30s on loan from a buddy. The front suspension is outta wack for sure lol. Yeah the rear has 2nd gen springs in it, dont matter to me I'm going to 63s.
But yeah you know what kinda work I got cut out for me lol. By chance what was dude asking for it? I don't think I made off to bad, I traded my kinda beat up but running good 3.0 auto runner for it, was on 35s stock ifs no lift with a lil trimming.

Cool, thats funny I am glad you got it going. He was asking $1000 for it. No O2 and a bad tps, sounds like a bad combo LOL. I didn't even check the motor out as I was just judging on the suspention and the money for me to fix all the problems. Looks like you have done alot to it already and it is looking good. Sounds like you are happy and thats all that matters, It will be a nice safe truck when done.
