So we just pick up a 1979 23' Prowler Travel Trailer and looks like we will be doing Camp Hosting in the Yacolt Burn at Dougan Falls or Cold Creek Campground. I'll try to get some pics up soon. It's a little bit of a fixxer up, but it's all I could afford. We got it from The Dalles a couple of days ago. The Black Jeep towed it nicely ;D

Not painting the jeep to match the trailer, and if I paint the trailer to match the jeep, It would look like gothe kids owned it. Not that there is anything wrong with that, just would be Hot in the summer.

Not sure what the full weight is on it, but the jeep weight was 5150lbs and the trailer was 3300lbs.

if you were at the T/A truck stop in AURORA they have a full length CAT approved roll on scale you could of weigh the whole rig at one time ,or just weigh all your axels one at a time and add them up, it will give you total weight PS gota love thoughs mirror extensions

You could paint the lower half black and the two stripes in the center red and leave the top white, that wouldn't be goth.... Nice find, my wife wants one too, she's not into the whole getting drunk around a fire and passing out in the truck or one time next to the fire........

I keep forgetting to get more pics, but here is one of where we're parked while we're doing some maintenance:

Finally got all the maintence work done on it. Sealed everything up couple of days ago and tarped it just to make sure it stays dry for all the sealers to dry. Just a few more things to buy before it's ready for camping in the sticks.

do you want/need larger propane tanks so you can go longer between fillups?
