actually the brackets were already on the truck when i got it. all i did was drill the hole and cut the angle. i would guess that you could pick up a chunk of angle for like 10-20 bucks. heck someone on here might have a piece.

have i said that i hate electrical issues? . so ive been fighting the fuel gauge issue for a while. i installed a new gauge, new wiring to the sending unit and still nothing. well thanks to by good buddy fishsticks i think ive got it figured out. the new wire i ran from the gauge to the tank has break in it somewhere. i ran a new wire and so far everything works.

i was over at bacckward boggers the othert day when we noticed something amiss. apparently i missed this wheel when tightening the lugs. almost wore thru the studs. so i decided to do the axle swap. before. during. after. i dont have the hubs yet but thats ok ill get them later.

WOW...that was too close for comfort! You can get new studs at most any auto parts store or tire shop.

Did someone drill out the wheels, or was the axle the cause of it? Was that the rear axle that the lugs wore on? Good thing you caught it, that could have gone bad real fast.

Ouch, atleast you caught it before your wheel passed you going down the road.

it was the rear that went bad. i think the lugs werent tight enough and loosened up. bad things is it ruined the wheel. i wanted to sell em when i got the changeover done. oh well. it will be nice to have it done. and yes ken i couldve picked up new studs but i decided to do my axle swap and get away from the small bolt pattern and bad wheel bearing design.

Looks like you need to turn your rear leafs around to give a little more clearance for the rear tires. Looks great though, glad to see it back on the trails.
