I tried registering for an account awhile back, but never received my activation code. I just, today, noticed the warning about Hotmail addresses (which I use).
I also saw this post on the forum (5years old) that seemed to refer to pretty much the same issue with Yahoo mail.
This can generally be avoided if you have the sending email address in your contacts list (which most systems check to see if perhaps a message it thinks is suspicious can actually pass through if you bothered to add them to your contacts).
So, this post is for two reasons...
* admins, could you ad something (like the warning about hotmail addresses) to that page that instructs users to add the system email to their contacts to avoid the issue? * users, add "email@example.com" (minus the quotes) to your contact list and you should get your activation code just fine. They probably won't be able to read this until after the fact though ;D
...unfortunately, you don't know the address to add until you get an email from the system (I used another email briefly to work around this). But, you can't get an email from the system to that address until it's in your address book/contact list, haha
Hope this helps someone! Apologies if this info is somewhere else. I searched for "activation", and "hotmail" and it came up with nothing.
i been trying to get log in as a member for months...do you discriminate? everyone should be welcome. you can't just pick and choose. are you guys that stuck on yourselves?
If this is Kris then yes your account has been banned. You may not remember but from a previous summer bash you had requested a large order of shirts and thankfully we got them cancelled because they never got paid for.
Second reason is there are members on here you had screwed over in the past and it is easier for us to be a family on here without the drama.
