well just glad the box knife they found under the seat wasn't used to cut the car up...
and yeah insurance is willing to repair the car, $100 deductable..........go into day for a qoute @ 130... I belive she said i can repair it myself, but they will pay the going rate.... or i can have a shop do it.....
if ya ask me, the repairs will be more then what the car is worth.... and if they were to decide to total it out, i'll be asking to buy it back..

Chances are that the methhead lives close to you. I'd say within a half a mile from where they ditch your car. They seem to think it's easier to steal a vehicle and take it back to their place, take off what they want, then ditch the vehicle and walk home. They will ditch it somewhere they don't travel much.

ok... just got back from getting the qoute to repair everything...
$1349.00
id say thats just about what the car is worth. but the way Geico does it...... they cut me a check right there on the spot......minus the $100 deductable.
hope i score the complete interior i found on CL, for less then $300....

told the wife she could spent $100 and the replacement parts were.. $300.....told her a D60 front for the jimmy would be great...
She just laughed.... guess that means, No.
Did score a complete interior (grey) + Seats/Dash.. basicly everything but the carpet and steering wheel for $300 on CL sure i'll get to spend a bit, but not sure on what... might do car alarm on the civic and replace the CAT(it rattles really bad..lol) .... but not 100% got alot of work to switch out interior, ahead.
