great pics Jeremy. Thanks for taking the time.
Here is a quick carnage rundown as I remember it.
Pat and I both unload in the am and Pats is slow to start.
then a couple miles down the road we stop and Pats is pinging a little so we adjust the dist just a tad.\
So we hit 7-up easy sides and then firebreak 5, here is when the body carnage started.
We get up to crushers and drop in realatively easy. We were both running with no spotters and then boom. I get both diffs hung up on 2 boulders. I try for a bit to get off everyway I can think and nothing. So we hook up pats winch and he goes to pull. He then bends his bumper into a tree pulling on me. About the same time I drop a driveline. We put the driveline in and dropped it a second time.
Finally get off the boulders and Pat dented a wheel pulling on me. So I hammer the wheel back into shape so it stops leaking.
From here I spotted for Pat down the trail. A little more body damage but not much.
Now Pats trans starts slipping a little.
I drug my driveline over a few boulders and dented it.
we get Pat almost to the top and the trans is slipping so bad it wont move.
I decide to pass him and pull him out and thats when the leaf spring bent crushing the shock and pulling the driveline apart.
tried using my winch but the drum spun on the cable, so I get Pats truck turned around to winch my axle forward and get his truck stuck on a log. So now we are pretty screwed.
We get my truck fixed and Justin wheels it up past pat and we hook a strap to pat to turn him around and get him off the log. In doing this we pulled a tire off the bead DAMN DAMN DAMN.
We hilift the truck and reseat the tire. At the same time we add 5 qts of trans fluid but still not full. Just enough to ge tpat rolling a again.
We tug on him one more time and pulled his driveline apart. Geez.
Get him fixed and decide to let his rig wheel as far as it could then tug little at a time.
So we get out of crushers and decide to try the rock face at 7up as it just begins to rain. The again I loose the driveline. Here I say screw it and tied the driveline up and headed to the trailer.
Think I got most of it......
