Well atleast you got it home and your not reporting any injuries which is always a good thing. You going to swap some sheet metal or are you going to leave it be and just fix the rear suspension?

it drove home, neither my friend or I were hurt in the roll, I sprained my wrist but that's about it... very gentle roll being in the sand, I doubt I'll be going around a bowl like that again...
I'm going to push the fenders, door and bedsides back into shape as much as possible and do what I can about the roof, I'll see what I can get done on saturday...

One step done, straightened the shackle mounts, only took half an hour... 24" Harbor Freight adjustable wrench ($18, been meaning to get one for a while, handy for all sorts of things), a piece of fire wood and a floor jack... will get a pic up tomorrow...

Here's my fan set up I mentioned last night. V6 contour fans, their 3.25-3.5" thick and 24.25 wide, just thought I'd give you some measurements....

That setup is similar to the fan I have that's supposedly from a crown vic.
Windshield is now installed on the truck with the roof in place, it's going to need a fair amount of bondo still... also reworked the exhaust so it exits at the bumper instead of a foot in front of it, the tailgate should stop turning black now!
Just need to make a couple more tweaks on the suspension and under hood and it'll be ready for the road/trails again!

Have fun sanding the bondo, why are you running so rich?

The turbo engine has had it's share of running issues... there was a point where it got 9mpg, this was mainly from me not having the ECT wired right. For whatever reason ever since I put this engine in it's always ran bad on a hot restart, right now the issue is mostly ignition related, as in the module is unhappy. I'm working on the ignition module issue right now, have a new bracket to mount it in some airflow. The ignition issues are what led to rolling the truck.
yeah, not looking forward to sanding down that much bondo, but I have a couple ideas on shortcuts.

Sounds like you got some work to do for sure. Saw abunch of ranger stuff on Salem CL duno if you have seen it. I'm so burned on body work right now it's not funny and I'm real cramped for room since another car showed up in the drive way. As soon as brother n law moves out I'll be back in the same boat sanding again...

pickd up a spare front axle for cheap to have a spare set of axle shafts and radius arms so I can get to making extended radius arms, and the new radius arm crossmember will have an integrated and removable tranny mount since the current tranny crossmember is in the way
The truck runs pretty good right now, still some starting issues but I've learned a couple tricks and it's very drivable, even took it snow wheeling about a month ago... did good other than tire issues

Hmm, not a bad deal, but I already have one of those sitting in front of me right now but not enough airflow in that area at wheeling speeds to make it worth putting in stock, I have a plan to box in the cooler part with aluminum and make it air to water, with a remote mounted motorcycle radiator and electric fan or something... have a Mitsubishi intercooler too to play with but haven't come up with a final plan for either. I'm going to be pulling the engine this summer or fall to reseal the dang thing, it's leaking everywhere pretty bad...
While I'm here, I might as well say that I made another trip to Christmas Valley this year and didn't come back with any broken parts! It does need new tires though as these are really old, was trying to be safe with them and left them at 15psi in the sand instead of the 8-10psi I wanted to run... sidewalls look fragile.
