got the front lift leafs in finally, and the ubolt alternatives... also some pics of my free gauges ;D.. it sits an inch higher in the front which is OK, but i didnt really want that.....so i might just take a leaf out or something and that will help with the ride also. still rides a bit ruff, i have never really been in a stockish solid axle yota so im not really sure how smooth they are sooooo i may just be belly ache'n for no reason ..... now i know why they say you need crossover steering to use a u-bolt flip kit.... no worry with my setup i just torched off the bottom ball, no going back to stock now lol i need 1/4 longer bolts on the pass side to contact the lock part of the nylock.... GRRRRR..... those toggle switches are for my power windows lol bling bling baby.....

well sorta an update on some more minuscule build elements..... I do have a weber and yes it suffers from the uphill bog blues, i was tired of three footen it if i had to back down a steep hill or what not so after much searching and not getting anything more that the norm (get fuel injection, propane, bla bla bla) i decided to go ahead and try a couple of things, first off was the fuel pressure reg, adjust the bowls and reroute the fuel bowl vent..... So off came the top of the carb.... used some jb weld stick, sorta like (playdough lol) to plug the stock vent, and i drilled holes into a unused port... then i shoved tapped 3/8 copper tubing into the vent with some stud and bearing 271 loctite.... ran the tube to the charcoal canister and took it out for a test. first found that 3psi was starving the carb on the road during long acceleration so i upped it to the max of 5 and that helped, offroad i droped it back down to 3 and tried going up a hill that previously i couldnt stop on because it would stall, now i could stop but after about 20 seconds the carb would start to load up and start to die like before.....so back home i go.... I probily spent two hours today TRYING to find someone that has documented reversing a weber on a 22r.... to no avail, so i just took it upon myself.... ended up with mostly factory toyota parts, 85 22re throttle cable, 197? throttle cable fulcrum, a couple pieces of scrap, and some longer fuel line....sorta miss calculated on the stretch of the throttle cable so i had to elongate the holes in the brackets, looks like crap but it works with the big washers..... I got it all fired up and everthing tonight but i couldnt get it out to test it, hoping that it will run standing on the rear bumper now, i always have compression to keep it running nose down right ....should be fun, i will keep yeall updated

started my RUF (rears up front) swap today..... all going good except i ordered leaf and shackle bushings for the front springs not the back .... DUHHHH lol.... got the springs out tonight and got some basic straight shackles made also. 5.5 on center. trying to get it all back together (minus the driveshaft) so i can go watch the races in banks saterday..... pretty much just some shots of the before all in all im doing this for the new axle placement, should be around 2" further forward. keeps my damn tires out of the rear of the fenders (i dont wana tub it either).. but ive heard RUF's flex like mad too....

And its almost done, sitting on the springs...... front spring hanger bolts, had to make big "washer" for the head side becuase of the design of the yota spring bolts home made shackles, Still need throw a piece of metal between the two peices, but gota wait for my 18mm bolts to get here.... some poser shots...... maxes out the shocks before it pulls on the brake lines, lol..... i need longer shocks definably, and of course longer brake lines... In these pictures the leaf packs arnt even separating much yet, so i may have LOTS of droop.... rear flexes pretty good with the stock leafs too new steering link, just temporary untill i do crossover, surprisingly still steers great and ride height after a lil flexn and drivn

Find some Chevy 63's if you get the length and the angle right on the shackels then you wont even need blocks, I know a few guys that run rears up front and 63s
