Yes that looks kinda freeky. At least you had your Hi-man. You could have used that as a winch as well.. I've been stuck in the deep snow alone. It's only fun after you get out :-).. Ya know if you had the boggers on the other way.... Just messing with you...

Ya when I stuffed that highlift into the snow in front of my rear tire and it went all the 48" down it scared the shi*& out of me. I don't remember ever seeing snow that soft under the crust. The pics really don't show it to well.
And I would of had to do some serious pully- cable-pully-winch work to get out road was serious narrow and trees were a ways away. But could of made it work. IF ONLY I HAD A WINCH!........lol

Went to Jordan creek Friday night with brother and girlfriend wheeled all day Saturday and Sunday. Got to finally take the truck up some of the bigger stuff. Got to hit Rocky uphill, can opener, center line of waterfall, And just the left line of the one west of waterfall. I need bed protection for that left line. The weather was perfect! Truck had no issues untill Sunday on the way back to camp after hitting that black diamond west of waterfall, after climbing and doing inspection I somehow lost the big nylon lock nut on my shackle and half of the shackle was hanging off! Thanks to some fellow wheelers (OUR GANG OFFROAD, Northwest Offroad Outfitters) for use of some tools bigger than I had I was back on the trail. Guess it was good karma, helped repair one rig , and dismantled my Cr250 to give parts to a guy so he didn't have to go home. And since I was allready heading back to camp I kinda counted this as a no break down weekend! And for those concerned about the last photo, it is in the middle of a tral that is open just not cleared yet. So no I am not off trail according to the forest service who said these trails are open. Next on agenda 7-Up! [/img]

Nice pics! I'm itching to get back and try waterfall with my new rig after it stumped me last year with my old rig.

Ya it stumped me my first time that day and thought my truck wouldn't make it untill I ran into a group of guys that were heading back there and I went with them. I didn't know it takes a few minutes on the wall to make it up. The whole group took a few tries before making it. But the cool thing is we got a full size dodge up!

it took me a couple minutes, pretty much had to dry the tires a bit by spinning before hooking up.

Concerning the snow situation... boy have i been there... When i lived in Wyoming we had to deal with deep iced over snow drifts all the time......
what springs are you running up front, seem to flex really nice....

Ya nothing like the sudden drop untill your axles hit solid ice and there is four to five feet of corn snow under and your tires are just spinning free!
They are Trail Gear 5", everybody talks sh!@ about trail gear but when on the trail all the toyota guys run up to me after each obstacle and first thing is "what springs are those?" ;D
Seem to work pretty good.

it took me a couple minutes, pretty much had to dry the tires a bit by spinning before hooking up. Ya maybe I didn't heat them up enough the first time, that big puddle at the bottom doesn't help much! The second time I was after four or five trucks and the rocks were nice and wet
