awesome! I love my plasma! I put it on my cart with my welder and built a dual plug extension cord so I can have them both handy at all times.

Do the shackles go the same way or do they both go out? They both go out, the frame appears to be about 1/2" - 3/4" wider then the spring mounts on the axle. I thought they were close to the same width, but with weight on the springs not close enough. looks good will you have it rolling out for summer bash? I do press brake work if you need to bend the shackles I'm trying to shoot for having it rolling by middle of July so it will make it to SB. May hit you up for getting the shackles bent.

If the front differential is from a dodge the spring perches aren't the same width as a chevy d60, this may be your issue.

Probably what it is, the axle is a Dodge D60, need to get some measurements and see how much they need to be offset. If all goes to plan it won't be leaf sprung for too long.

Started building the cage today. Did some test bends with the bender I built over a year ago. Got some rough measurements for where the bends were. Used a piece of HREW as not to screw up a piece of DOM. Well that didn't work out... As you can see, my measurements were off a little, basically need the inside of the tube needs to be at 58.125" wide and it measures out just over 64" wide. Driver side... Passenger side... Still have 3 more sticks of DOM, may end up needing more now though. I was thinking about cutting and splicing it in the middle with 1.5" inside, but don't want to lose any strength so I'll probably bend a new piece.

I did the same thing on my first one. At least you can cut it up and use it on the rest of the cage.

Re-did the front crossmember spring mounts, now they shackles are straight... Passenger Driver Then went and got the other 2 tires and mounted them. Got kinda scary for a second, while I was jacking up the front, truck moved about 8" forward on the rear jackstands. Luckily it didn't fall off them. With how it sits now, it won't be able to make it out of the garage with these tires, going to have to put the rollers on.
