yeah dana 30 and dana 35s dont really like 38's very well or even 33's for that matter.

they dont seem to like rev limiters much either. it lasted longer than i thought it would though. it just needs a final hell run after i get my axles ready to go in.

yeah a 4.0l would have been way better but even better would be the atleast give the option of the 5.7 hemi.!!!!!!!

yea they definately should have. the 3.8 is weak. a nice 5.7 or 6.1 hemi would be perfect. too bad the swap costs about 20k

i think the 3.8 is a good powered motor its got more power and torque than the 4L before it but the 4L didnt have tons of power either... the 3.8 is probablly good for the short wheel base jeep just not the 4 door..

i havent drove a 2dr jk yet so im not sure on the difference in power between them but i did test drive an auto 4dr before they had mine brought to the dealership and at felt like a huge difference in power the auto feels like a geo metro motor power wise. and my tj when it was on 32"s felt like it had more power than the jk on stock 32"s and that is with 4:10s in both and only a 4 banger in the tj.

i am ready for tires pretty much on the jeep you should sell me your 38's!!! lol so then you have to get started on the tj, it can come stay in the shop if you want it too.

well i finally got more parts in today. i got all of my ballistic joints, my rear truss, and my high steer arms. they are all beefy!

nice, give me a call sometime i wanna come check it all out, oh and are you still planning on moving out and need somewhere to work on it, i am pushing to get mine out of the shop sssssooooooonnnn!!!!! all i need to finish it trac bar and get some wheels for my tires and measure for driveshafts. so i am hopin by next week i should have it done.

nice, give me a call sometime i wanna come check it all out, oh and are you still planning on moving out and need somewhere to work on it, i am pushing to get mine out of the shop sssssooooooonnnn!!!!! all i need to finish it trac bar and get some wheels for my tires and measure for driveshafts. so i am hopin by next week i should have it done. i have been meaning to give you a call but i lost your # its on my old broken phone. yea i am hoping to move out soon and get this thing along farther the carpet is all pulled out now and i have been working on getting the cage out but i need to pick up a new drillto do it. those bolts holding the stock cage in are garbage almost all of them have stripped out they must be aluminum or something because they are weak. i have just about everything to do the swap now though i just need square tube, the front truss, and to order the psc hydro steering.. then for the drivetrain i need a tranny and t-case. i am just going to use the 305 thats in my chevelle for now.

yeah should have enough power for now, but it just means more work with wiring and all that motor mounts and stuff once you wanna go with a 350, i have easy outs to get those bolts out if you wanna borrow them. were headed to the beach tonight but i should be back sunday afternoon
