I didn't check the actual degrees that it changed the angle but with the way they work vs the old shackles it keeps the angle good through the whole range of flex. With the shackles the pinion angle would start pointing toward the ground on full droop and u-joints didn't like that. The stability of the front end is so much different than with swing shackles.

I am going to install a set of the sliders when I put the tons under the 40. Where did you get the front spring hangars?

The front hangers are from diy4x, I built the sliders, diy4x also sells the sliders if you ask for them except he uses bearings on the side that roll back and forth, I just used delrin plastic.

Few updates for people that are not on facebook New knuckles New chromoly shafts and super joints Rear axle truss 205 rear mount Winch mount and winch Also installed are new leaf springs and rear add-a-leafs. Still waiting for tires to arrive.

Main things left to do are: front driveline, line lock as parking brake, skid plates, add a 2nd battery & wire the winch, add some head lights, install tires, do some water proofing and add a snorkel.

Nice to see it coming together. More batteries the better especially if you need to wench with no motor or altenator.

Interco can't tell me for sure when the tires will be here for some reason but they shipped last week.
