Yes Congrats to the Rebel Fam... I'll talk to ya today about a cheaper way to go than the crappy Rubi axle (it is better than my D30 but the Rubi is still a weak axle IMO).

Sweet nice going... Ok so heres my plan for your axles this is what i will be doing on Lucille cuz you get the strength of full size D44 axles but ya keep the width of current set up.. And as a SUPER bonus ... 4 wheel disk brakes !!!! Honda passport D44 rear, $50 at the next 1/3 off sale and lets be honest ya know they have never seen trail use. Very common finding them with 4.56 gears and limited slip rears. then get an 80'up waggy front$ $65?at 1/2 off sale(Think New Years). Your rig will be WAY easier than mine as I run coils and your running springs? Just buy or move your perches regear the front to match the 4.56's(or regear all togather). These axles are 3/4 narrower than stock TJ's 1/4" thicker axletubes, and if ya really want to get fancy you could hi steer them pretty easy. Ohh yes the waggy is drivers side drop. It is a lo pinion but I don't see that as a huge drawback cuz if Hi pinions were the sh!t every manufacture would have put them under their rigs. Hope this helps and gives ya another idea...Beings ya want a lil' different rig from the other guys that are going full widths.

thanks kev this is a good idea all sounds good with the Jimmy will have to do hi stear but that not to big of a deal josh found a guy that has the brakets and will learn as we do joshs and bills rig. sill trying to find info and will use bills build a geanie pig herd you have to use hi pinon do to somthing with drivelines but have to do some reading but this sounds good atleas worth looking in to more

High pinion is the shit for driveline angle and ground clearance. Other than that nothin special as far as I know.
Isnt the jimmy a drivers drop?

I understood that for some reason the hp in the front is also stronger for some reason? something to do with the angle the pinion comes in relation the the ring in pinion and the dirrection the axle is spinning.... kina why some will argue that a ford nine is stronger than a dana 60... they say that since the pionion comes in so low it allows the contact with more teeth at a time.... if any of that make sense... I dont know any of this first hand just what i have read....

A HP is stronger when used as a front (reverse rotation) going foward compared (on the coast side of the gears) to a LP but is weaker going in reverse... But from what have read it is not enough to make a diference to 98% of people. Randy sells the Hi steer kits don't he? Now some guys like rock dawg can not run a HP because it inter fears with his oil pan (97 TJ with a 302) so defently check into that also as I have heard that from other guys also.
