Some of you know I have been thinking about doing a SAS in the pathfinder, I have decided I will be doing it and Picked up a Dana 44 out of a 86 waggy today That I am going to start building and will be gathering more parts as i can afford to get them. The axle is in really good shape and out of one of the cash for clunkers, kinda a shame as it was a really clean 86.I Will be a while tell i ripe the rig apart as I still want to use it tell I have all the stuff ready. I would post a pic but camera is broke.

I am going to go SOA I don't want to go much taller then it is So I need the taller spring pack of a 44044. To use the stock waggy springs i would have to go SUA and would end up much higher.

I think you are backwards on that Joe, if you go SOA and 44044's then the thing will be super tall, if you go SUA and 44044's it will be about 5" lower. Why not run spring over with stock springs?

I was going to Do it like nissannut.com/projects/SAS_WD21/ I want to keep running Swampers im running on it now and he had the same rear suspension in the pathfinder in that link as I have now so should end up the height I want it.

That looks sweet, that one is SUA with the 44044's. When the time comes to do the swap you can always use the shop if you want, if not I'll help whenever I can.

I very well might take you up on that but I still have to get gears carrier hubs, breack lines steering parts, shocks, front hanger, shackles, I will be gathering it all as I can afford. Then prep it all. Thats when you Shop would be Nice for gutting front end and hanging axle. And yes I listed SOA and SUA backwords in that above post.

I was looking at the CALMINI FRONT HANGER KIT, but If there is a Equal or better one at the right size ill buy it, any dollar i save is a dollar toards the next part i need:)
