OK I'm board and have nothing to do, and no doe, so I'm postin pics of the daily's. went to swabs and got some new rubber on both rigs, the wife drives the durango most of the time.. 98 golf gti wanted to get the MT's but they didn't have um in that size, oh well, it see's the street most of the time anyways so we got the AT's all try to get some better pics

Yep, pic of the bad trans, rivet broke of the ring gear letting the cross pin lose and bomb. sorry bad pics, there's 2/3rds left of the cross pin in the sun reflection on the diff. here's the original trans with the bad revers gear.(that I replaced 20,000 miles ago) I'm hard on revers gears but the revers gear in the trans that blowed up is perfect so I'm swapping it in to the other trans, but it also looks like some of the barrings are not looking so good so it looks like all be throwing a rebuild kit at it. this is alot more work than I thought but I think I can get it all back together ;D I hope

well got to start putting this thing back together got to go through DEQ next month. drilled out those tranny killer rivets, took everything apart cleaned it and put it back together with the new ARP bolts, and cross pin snap rings.

jigsaw is right spent like 5 hours today trying to get this thing back together just have to clean the other case half and install some seals and I can close it up figure I got anther day putting it together and a day or two to install it so I can burn rubber again. Maybe that's why it blew apart in the first place, too much burning rubber. LOL

Soo if yea need any help putting that back together i have done a couple..... those rivets are notorious for that problem also........ while yea had it apart yea shoulda thrown a quaff in there.....(thats a limited slip diff not a quiff for those sick minded people lol)
