it is....tires will help alittle....... found steel skids(pair) for $55... should help.... till axle swap

well i pulled the engine out of my Jimmy today, next is to clean the engin compartment up, tear down and save what i might need off of the bad eng(heads/flex plate/new water pump/oil pan/intake manifold)
Clean up the other engine and replace all the seals/gaskets ..... then reinstall, with Josh's help...lol should be done by summer bash....

the old motor (4.3 vortec) has a bad rod/bearing in the lower end........ were swapping the 4.3 vortec from josh's 93 jimmy project into it.... also has 50K less miles on it

it was a pretty easy take out.... 2x one i've pulled now... stripped the bad engine down tonight

with the motor out it might be a good time to build a cross member for you tranny, that way if you have to pull the t-case or motor ever you have plenty of support!

got 2 of the 5 swampers mounted up today... they look pretty good for being so narrow...
