Hey last summer (june 05') i had my truck parked in woodburn at my uncles shop. long and short is i had 2 of my 35x14.50 SSR stolen off my truck found it on block (they try to steal the whole truck, but no starter or fuel tank LOL). Then this last month my litle bro was surfing craigs list and thought he found them... i had already filed a police report when they were stolen, call the cops told them that i fond them on craigs list and eventualy took the 2 tires that i still had (along with the truck) to prove they were mine. I got them back he had bought them on craigs list and that guy bought them from somone else. so he got a "property recipe" and screwed out of what he payed for them. he was cool about it though he even agreeed that they were mine.
The moral is be careful on craigslist and ebay. I use them both all the time, so dont get me wrong they are great! but that guy found out the hard way and i got lucky.

Yeah, living in the state of Tweekville you have to keep a close eye on stuff. I worked at a consignment shop for 5 years and we gave people back their stolen stuff all the time. The plus side is I got to send a lot of dirtbags to jail.

Thats kinda funny not really in a way. i did the same thing lol just trying to earn a few extra dollars to help the hubby out while at home with the kids. and sure enough after sending in my 10 dollars and 2 weeks later they sent me the same thing on how to repost the add. so i got screwed on the deal also, so your wifes not the only one out there.. But i do like Craig's list, but yes there are a lot of scammer's out there.
